Job summary

American Sound’s Columbus location seeks an Account Executive to drive growth by building relationships with enterprise, healthcare, and education clients. You will work closely with a dedicated technical engineer to craft customized AV solutions, lead business development, and manage key accounts.

The role requires a proven sales track record, excellent communication, and a creative approach to solution selling. Day shift with commissions and robust benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial AV sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
• Proven communicator and negotiator with client-facing success.
• Experience using sales databases and generating proposals.
• Creative thinker with aptitude for solution selling.
• Strong team leadership and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commercial audio-visual design, integration, and support sales.
• Focus on cultivating relationships with enterprise, healthcare, and education clients.
• Engage in business development activities, dedicating 70% to new clients initially, then 30%.
• Manage and nurture existing accounts as the pipeline grows.
• Network with commercial and corporate groups to identify opportunities.
• Conduct meetings, generate proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with a dedicated technical engineer to deliver customized solutions.
