Job summary

SmartBear, a leading provider of API lifecycle management and software quality solutions, seeks a seasoned Solutions Engineer to partner with enterprise teams on API governance and modernization. You will lead technical demonstrations, PoCs, and workshops, advising Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success while translating customer needs into practical API solutions.

You will expand expertise in APIs, cloud technologies, and DevOps, delivering reusable technical assets and contributing

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Software Engineering, or another customer-facing technical role.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI Specification, API development, and modern software architecture.
Experience delivering demonstrations and proof of concepts for enterprise customers.
Working knowledge of CI/CD, cloud technologies, DevOps, or application integration.
Strong communication, discovery, and consultative problem-solving skills.
A passion for helping customers solve technical challenges while partnering across Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

Partner with enterprise organizations to modernize API development and governance through SmartBear's API Lifecycle Management solutions.
Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and customer workshops.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success as a trusted technical advisor.
Deliver compelling demonstrations showcasing Swagger's capabilities.
Translate complex customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
Develop reusable technical assets while expanding expertise in APIs, cloud technologies, and DevOps.
