Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Data Science Manager to independently build, validate and deploy ML, AI and statistical models that serve enterprise needs. The role applies LLM-based and agentic AI techniques with production-grade pipelines and governance.

The position partners with business, product, technology, AI governance, security and compliance teams to ensure well-governed solutions with measurable impact across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience building ML/AI models and deploying to production including LLM/agentic solutions.
• Experience independently managing projects or workstreams of moderate scope.
• Automotive or financial services industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master's preferred.
• Working knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps/AgentOps practices.
• Ability to translate business problems into data science solutions and explain results.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy ML, AI and statistical models for business problems; define success metrics with partners.
• Build and evaluate LLM-based and agentic AI solutions with safety guardrails.
• Deploy models into production with training, inference, versioning and drift monitoring.
• Collaborate with business, product, technology, governance, security and compliance teams.
• Contribute to modeling standards and provide technical guidance.
