Job summary

Rocketlane is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to own AI agent deployments for strategic customers. You will embed with customer teams, design agent workflows, configure integrations, and ship production-grade apps that drive measurable outcomes.

This role blends engineering, product, and customer success, requiring hands-on coding, prompt engineering, and strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering/product management experience.
• Strong command of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth/auth flows, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Good understanding of data modeling and ETL for production use.
• Experience with cloud, DevOps, and integration tooling (Postman, AWS/GCP, Docker, iPaaS).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment of Nitro AI agents for enterprise customers from discovery to go-live and optimization.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with Services, IT, and Revenue teams to map workflows to Nitro agent capabilities.
• Design agent architectures for migrations, workforce, and documentation; tailor workflows to customers.
• Build and deploy integrations between Nitro and customer systems (CRM, HRMS, ERP, data warehouses).
• Write production-grade code/scripts to extend Nitro agents into customer workflows.
• Engineer prompts and evaluation frameworks; tune agent behavior for customer data and context.
• Develop data pipelines and connectors feeding agents with SOWs, project history, and communications.
• Debug live agent behavior in customer environments and ship fixes quickly.
