Job summary

NewRocket is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join the AI Foundry team and work directly with customers to deploy, operationalize, and scale AI-powered workflows. This role blends full-stack engineering, enterprise integration, generative AI, and client-facing delivery.

You will apply modern LLM engineering practices—prompt/context engineering, RAG, tool use, and responsible AI controls—to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, systems integration, or related roles.
• Strong full-stack development and API integration experience.
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications and RAG systems.
• Experience in customer-facing engineering or solutions architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Understanding of responsible AI concepts and governance.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work in fast-moving customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and operationalize agentic AI workflows within client ServiceNow environments.
• Translate customer requirements into technical architectures and production-ready AI solutions.
• Integrate NewRocket Agent Packs, accelerators, and workflow solutions.
• Tailor AI solutions to operating models, data sources, and security needs.
• Support workshops, pilots, and production rollouts with customers.
• Communicate AI capabilities and tradeoffs to technical and business stakeholders.
• Build demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concept implementations.
• Develop reusable patterns, prompt libraries, and deployment assets.
