Job summary

Rocketlane is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI agent deployments for enterprise customers. You will embed with client teams, design agent workflows, and ship production-grade integrations that improve delivery outcomes.

You’ll own discovery, solution design, and live debugging, translating field learnings into product improvements. This role blends engineering, product, and customer success in a fast-growing AI-native environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering/product management experience.
• Proficiency in building integrations, APIs, and data workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for customer-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment of Nitro AI agents for enterprise customers, from discovery to go-live and optimization.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with customer stakeholders to map workflows to Nitro capabilities.
• Design agent architectures and build/ship custom integrations between Nitro and customer systems.
• Write production-grade code and scripts to extend Nitro agents within customer environments.
• Engineer prompts and evaluation frameworks for reliable AI agent behavior.
