Job summary

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise teams, architect AI-enabled solutions, and deliver end-to-end systems within client environments. You’ll operate as consultant, operator, and engineer, aligning with CIOs and VPs to scope and ship impactful AI capabilities.

You will work on regulated industries and Fortune 500 clients, owning architecture decisions, ensuring value delivery, and driving continuous improvement in delivery pipelines and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least one mainstream production stack.
• Advanced English is required.
• Experience with frontier AI developer tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Proven experience with APIs, service design, event-driven and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and owning CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, release, environments, and deployment processes.
• Ability to own end-to-end delivery ownership and manage project scope without PM supervision.
• Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience on large, complex systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Discover. Run workshops and process discovery with business and engineering stakeholders and return a scoped, defensible point of view.
• Structure the process and the spec for automated business or engineering processes.
• Architect & design end-to-end agentic systems including context and retrieval architecture, tool integration, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Build working systems with agents, multi-step automations, and internal tooling; prototypes that prove value in weeks.
• Engineer the delivery system including CI/CD for builds, tests, releases, environments.
• Consult and defend decisions with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leadership; support pre-sales scoping.
