Job summary

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who sits with enterprise teams to architect and deliver AI-powered systems. You’ll be a consultant, operator, and engineer, shaping solutions, validating business cases, and shipping with real impact in client environments.

You’ll work on regulated industries and Fortune 500 clients, owning end-to-end delivery, architecture decisions, and deployment pipelines while collaborating with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least one mainstream production stack.
• Advanced English is required.
• A four-year college degree is required.
• Hands-on experience with frontier AI developer tools including Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Proven experience leading client-facing discovery calls.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum and large, complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Discover. Run workshops and process discovery with business and engineering stakeholders.
• Structure the process and the spec. Map current state and decisions to specifications for automation.
• Architect & design end-to-end agentic systems: orchestration, retrieval architecture, tool integration, guardrails, human-in-the-loop checks.
• Build working systems: agents, multi-step automations, internal tooling, integration layers; prototypes in weeks.
• Own CI/CD for what you build: environments, tests, releases.
• Present to CTOs/VPs and support pre-sales scoping and proposals.
