Job summary

Nous Research is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy Hermes Agent Enterprise in complex customer environments, partnering with enterprise teams to understand workflows and deliver production-ready AI solutions.

You will bridge engineering, infrastructure, and customer teams to solve ambiguous technical challenges, shipping high-impact deployments while documenting architectures and best practices for customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and deploying production systems.
• Experience with enterprise customers or cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong debugging across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication translating complex tech to customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Hermes Agent Enterprise across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
• Integrate enterprise APIs, data sources, authentication, and apps into workflows.
• Partner directly with customers to scope requirements, implement solutions, and iterate.
• Debug production issues across infra, orchestration, integrations, and AI layers.
• Build reusable deployment patterns and tooling to speed delivery.
• Document architectures, guides, and customer integration patterns.
• Improve observability and operational tooling for production AI systems.
