Job summary

Nous Research is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy Hermes Agent Enterprise within complex customer environments across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid settings. You will partner with enterprise teams to understand workflows, integrate data sources, and deliver production-ready AI solutions that address real business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or solutions engineering experience building and deploying production systems.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers or cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Strong debugging skills across distributed systems, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable working across backend engineering, infrastructure, APIs, and AI application layers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical customer solutions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Nous Research, you’ll deploy and adapt Hermes Agent Enterprise inside complex customer environments. You’ll work across engineering, infrastructure, and customer teams to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and reliable enterprise deployments.
