Job summary

Rocketlane is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own AI-enabled deployments for strategic customers, embedding with client teams to design workflows, configure integrations, and ship production-grade Nitro agents. This role blends engineering, product, and customer success in a fast-growing SaaS company.

You’ll join the AI-first Professional Services organization and work on high-ownership projects, proving impact through rapid production releases and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong data modeling and ETL understanding for production data.
• Experience with cloud, DevOps, and integration tooling (Postman, Docker, AWS/GCP, iPaaS).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Nitro AI agent deployments for enterprise customers.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and map business workflows to agent capabilities.
• Design architectures for agentic deployments and build integrations.
• Debug live agent behavior and translate field learnings into product improvements.
