Job summary

Google Cloud's Forward Deployed Engineering team seeks an AI Outcome Customer Engineer to bridge pre-sales and post-sales work, guiding deployments for enterprise reliability and rapid activation.

You will collaborate with account teams, design end-to-end integrations, diagnose issues at the code level, and translate technical feedback into actionable product requests while leveraging Google's AI portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (Java, C++, Python).

Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams during technical evaluation phases to assess feasibility, shape proposals for long-term adoption, and validate engagement requests.
• Lead upfront technical design for enterprise-grade AI solutions, ensuring secure integration of models, agents, and connectors into existing data pipelines and identity providers.
• Diagnose and resolve complex customer implementation issues, identify core product bugs, and test workarounds to clear execution roadblocks.
• Serve as liaison to core Product and Engineering teams, translating field feedback into actionable feature requests.
• Steer implementation strategy through technical authority while owning delivery with customer-facing teams.
