Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) focused on Agentforce Operations in Dallas. You will design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions inside customer environments, connecting advanced AI agents to Salesforce Data Cloud and ERP systems.

Expect hands-on coding, real-time data grounding, and multi-agent orchestration from day one. You will work with a Deployment Strategist and AI Engineers to implement agent respuesta, tool calls, and API pipelines, while aligning

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production AI, data engineering, or enterprise integration system deployed to production.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on AI grounding: LLM orchestration, prompt tuning, RAG pipelines, vector search indexes, knowledge base retrievers.
• Experience with API design (REST/SOAP/webhooks) and agent protocols (MCP, tool calling).
• Experience with MuleSoft or custom middleware to bridge AI agents with ERP systems.
• Data modeling, schema design, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Ability to whiteboard architecture with CTOs/VPs while writing production code.
• Familiarity with automation platforms and competing AI agent platforms.
• Experience with enterprise apps (Workday, Jira, Slack) and deployment infra (Kafka, AWS EventBridge, Azure Service Bus, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Knowledge of data governance (Informatica, Collibra) and operational execution platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions inside customer environments.
• Write production code, architect real-time grounding systems, and manage multi-agent communication protocols.
• Develop and deploy automated supply chain and back-office workflows.
• Build and optimize complex operational workflows, tool-calling logic, and conditional execution loops.
• Implement agent communication standards and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Create real-time dashboards and observability for agent performance and health.
