Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) focusing on Agentforce Operations to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You will work in an agile pod, connecting advanced AI agents to the broader enterprise tech stack, writing production code, and deploying complex workflows from day one.

The role requires hands-on expertise in LLM orchestration, prompt tuning, RAG pipelines, and modern API design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production AI or enterprise integration system deployed.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on AI grounding, LLM orchestration, and building RAG pipelines for enterprise data.
• Experience with API design (REST/SOAP/webhooks) and agent protocols (MCP, tool calling).
• Experience with MuleSoft or custom middleware to bridge AI agents with legacy ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agent solutions inside customer environments.
• Develop multi-agent orchestration and tool-calling logic with real-time data grounding.
• Implement agent communication protocols and context sharing standards.
• Create and maintain APIs and integration pipelines to Salesforce Data Cloud, cloud data warehouses, and ERPs.
• Write production code and manage deployment alongside AI engineers and deployment strategists.
• Build telemetry dashboards, monitor agent performance, and ensure secure tool execution.
