Variance is hiring in San Francisco, CA for an in-person role that leads the strategy and execution of deploying AI agents across enterprise risk, fraud, and identity-review workflows.

You will partner with customers to understand their needs, translate them into actionable deployment requirements, and own the relationship and outcomes across deployments and expansions. This foundational role offers meaningful equity and a growth trajectory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience turning pain points into deployment requirements.
• Experience shipping a 0→1 product and iterating with real data.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents for risk and compliance in collaboration with engineers and customers.
• Translate customer pain points into precise deployment requirements.
• Own the customer relationship and define success for each deployment and ongoing account life.
• Grow the account by linking customer roadmap to product opportunities for expansion.
• Shape the long-term roadmap by identifying patterns across accounts.
