Job summary

CGS Federal seeks an experienced Agile Coach to drive transformation across teams supporting a large federal agency. You will coach executives, managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to adopt SAFe, Lean, and DevSecOps practices, delivering value through iterative releases.

The role requires strong facilitation, training, and change-management skills to enable enterprise-wide agility and improved program outcomes. Based in Washington, DC area, on-site with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of practical Agile experience.
• Strong SAFe understanding including Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, and scaling.
• Hands-on organizational change experience across multiple teams.
• Experience launching Agile Release Trains and DevOps culture.
• Experience supporting PI Planning events and coordinating ARTs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Agile transformation for multiple teams and programs.
• Facilitate workshops to teach Agile/Lean principles and roles.
• Lead Agile training for government stakeholders and contractors.
• Coach teams in sprint planning and iterative delivery.
• Provide ongoing coaching to Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
• Help define backlogs and maintain Agile artifacts and roadmaps.
• Embed agile culture and ensure governance through metrics.
