Job summary

Checkmarx is the AI-powered application security leader seeking an experienced enterprise software sales professional to drive multiple opportunities across the US region. You’ll work with new and existing enterprise accounts, enjoying uncapped earnings and accelerators.

You will master our AI-powered security solutions, build a strong pipeline, plan key account strategies, and coordinate with Sales Engineers and leadership to close high‑value deals while maintaining MEDDPICC-focused forecasting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful direct enterprise software sales experience with quota attainment and closing high-value transactions.
• Experience developing enterprise relationships, generating pipeline, and winning new business within a defined geographic territory.
• Strong interest in AI technologies and ability to articulate value of AI/automation in software development.
• Experience navigating complex enterprise buying committees with senior leaders.
• Familiarity with MEDDIC/ MEDDPICC/ Command of the Message methodologies.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales productivity tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell with value using proven value-selling methodologies within a defined sales process.
• Become the expert on our industry and solutions to speak with authority.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to hit and exceed territory goals.
• Plan comprehensive account plans for your largest accounts.
• Lead discovery to understand business and technical needs and uncover opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and others against account plans.
• Craft compelling proposals and pricing strategies aligned to customer needs.
• Maintain accurate MEDDPICC-based forecasts and keep CRM up to date.
