Job description

Hasura is hiring a Strategic Account Executive focused on new logo acquisition.

The Strategic Account Executive will play a key role in driving Hasura's sales activities to grow our customer acquisitions in the East region. This role includes developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for your territory acquiring new logos. The ideal candidate needs to have experience selling complex Database, API, SaaS/PaaS into large corporate and multinational companies. Experience in a high-growth startup environment and/or Open Source software is a plus.

What the role will involve:
  • Build awareness for Hasura
  • Aggressively prospect, identify, qualify and develop sales pipeline in the East region, contributing to our North America revenue targets
  • Close business to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives
  • Build strong and effective relationships within the Northeast space, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing Hasura partners
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans that are based on viral methods and organic growth
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of outside sales experience
  • Deep experience selling within the Database, API, or Big Data space. Open Source experience is an advantage
  • An ability to articulate and sell the business value of big data and the positive impact on businesses of all sizes
  • Experience selling to developers, architects, and C-levels
  • Significant experience in a Sales and/or Business Development role within a similar startup and high-growth organization
