What You'll Do:

  1. Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close.
  3. Generate new business opportunities via outbound calls and emails, social media and partner channels.
  4. Build and maintain a strong pipeline.
  5. Identify key executive-level decision-makers and build strategic relationships to introduce our solutions.
  6. Develop a strong understanding of our products and how they solve real-world problems for different industries.
  7. Become an Akkadian subject matter expert by aligning and collaborating with other team members for best practices.
  8. Create compelling value propositions tailored to client needs and present custom solutions.
  9. Consult with prospects and existing customers regarding business objectives and requirements, framing the value of Akkadian offerings as a differentiated solution for those goals.
  10. Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and product teams to drive pipeline and improve customer engagement.
  11. Consistently and accurately update Salesforce to schedule and complete detailed activity in leads, contacts, accounts, and accurately update pipeline.
  12. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience, ideally in SaaS, automation, or unified communications platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but what we value more is experience along with mental agility.
  • Proficiency in solution selling and/or consultative selling methods, including prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Proven track record of exceeding new logo acquisition goals.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical products and translate value to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with and dedication to accurately maintaining Salesforce CRM applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels in an organization, including key decision makers.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
