Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to coordinate surgery scheduling with patients, physicians, and the operating room. You will help optimize workflow, verify eligibility and insurance, and support multi-surgeon cases across locations. Monday through Friday daytime schedule.

This role supports the Otolaryngology team, contributing to timely, compassionate care and accurate record-keeping within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in scheduling or administrative support preferred.
• Experience with surgical scheduling and hospital IT systems is a plus.

Mansioni

• Coordinate surgery schedules with patients, physicians and the operating room.
• Schedule multi-panel and multi-surgeon cases across locations.
• Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage for procedures.
• Assist in coordinating related appointments and precertification processes.
• Monitor schedules and optimize resource use to support efficient operations.
