Job summary

Advanced Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy in North Atlanta is seeking an on-site surgery scheduler to support 4 ENT physicians and work with one other scheduler. This role handles benefits verification, authorizations, scheduling procedures, coordinating with facilities, deposits, and pre/post-op visits, with a focus on clear communication.

The ideal candidate will have physician office experience, strong customer service, and excellent organizational skills; EN T experience is a plus and Greenway

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly personality.
• Physician office experience.
• ENT experience preferred but not required.
• Greenway PrimeSuite software experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills a must.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits.
• Obtain insurance authorizations.
• Schedule procedures, as well as pre and post-op appointments.
• Collect surgery deposits, depending on insurance benefits.
• Coordinate with various facilities where procedures are performed.
• Ensure communication between surgical assistants, facilities, and office staff, so that surgeries go smoothly.
• Prepare pre-op facesheets for patients.
• Answer and promptly return patient phone calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
