Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years working as a Customer Service Representative in physician office required.
• 2 years working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs and other 3rd party payors required.
• Travel up to 25% as noted in the job details.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day clinic front office staff under manager guidance.
• Coordinate front office operations: scheduling, patient registration, records, referrals.
• Monitor budgets for labor and supplies in front office.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and propose updates.
• Manage managed care referrals and authorization processes.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Participate in performance improvement projects.
• Act as active care team member in patient care coordination.
• Perform CSR functions and other duties as assigned.
