Qualifications

• 2 years Third party payers and computer experience in putting data and reviewing patient demographic material preferred.
• 2 years- Call center - required
• 2 years- Clerical/customer service experience - required
• 2 years- Health related industry - preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
• Certificate Medical Terminology - preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates day-to-day Patient Access Center activities and personnel issues.
• Acts as liaison with staff, departments/practices and patients.
• Assist with personnel and payroll functions for assigned personnel including hiring, training and coaching.
• Supervise real-time employee productivity with activity and queue monitoring to maintain customer service and productivity goals.
• Work with the Manager on scheduling of staff and workflow to provide optimum coverage.
• Answer inquiries, provide information and resolve complaints related to Access Center operations.
• Analyze departments to identify opportunities to improve service, cost and employee satisfaction.
