Job summary

Full Sail University is seeking an Enrollment Support Specialist to engage prospective students and assist applicants through the enrollment process on campus in Winter Park, FL. You will act as a concise, organized ambassador, communicating across channels and maintaining accurate status updates in the documentation system.

Responsibilities include guiding applicants, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with the enrollment team while upholding confidentiality and compliance with accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but combination of education and experience considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with prospective students.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced enrollment environment.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective students and enrolling applicants to guide them through enrollment.

Enrollment Support Specialist agents will operate in compliance with state and federal accreditation and institutional policies while performing job functions within the parameters of ethical codes of conduct.***This position is worked on campus in Winter Park, FL***Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Behave as an ambassador for Full Sail University, maintaining the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service while advising incoming students and parents to ensure a seamless enrollment experienceConnect with all prospective students regarding verification and discovery periods and maintain communication with qualified applicants to ensure they meet established deadlinesEngage in compliant and student-service oriented dialogue, recommend next steps while accurately and completely explaining student services, expected outcomes, and general details relating to Full Sail University’s education modelMaintain expected telephone coverage during scheduled hours, including answering inbound calls from students and making outbound calls to assist in the document collection process for enrolling studentsEngage with students through various communication channels, including phone calls, email, text, video calls, in-person meetings, and other methods as they become availableUpdate documentation database to reflect student’s enrollment statusOther Responsibilities:Adhere to policies and procedures of Full Sail UniversityMaintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel informationDemonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organizationAdhere to company attendance standardsPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: NoCompetencies:Effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to understand and clearly engage prospective and enrolling studentsOrganizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are requiredAbility to understand and accurately apply customer service techniquesProblem-solving acumen and strong attention to detailPositive attitude and self-motivated mindsetEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will look at a combination of education and experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/AComputer/Equipment Skills:Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookEnvironmental Factors/Physical Demands:Employee must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work is performed in an office environment and may include sitting for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and lifting to thirty (30) pounds.
