Job summary

Illinois Central College in East Peoria is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to support students as they navigate enrollment and financial aid. You will communicate policies, guide students through the process, and connect them with campus resources while upholding the Cougar CARE Principles.

As a full-time on-campus role, you will collaborate with the Registrar, Student Financial Services, and Veterans Services to ensure timely and accurate processing of admissions, records, and financial aid.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of office experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability for night and weekend work during peak enrollment.
• Typing speed 45+ words per minute.
• Strong customer service and ability to handle high-volume inquiries.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline enrollment support and communicate policies to students and parents.
• Assist students with enrollment, financial aid, and payment processes.
• Coordinate with Registrar, Student Financial Services, and Veterans Services.
• Process payments and set up payment plans for students.
• Guide students through financial aid and SAP considerations, including appeals.
• Conduct outreach to inform students about resources and deadlines.
