Job summary

Helms College is seeking an Admissions Representative to provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and their support systems, guiding applicants through the admissions process in alignment with accreditation and institutional policies.

You will recruit qualified applicants, manage inquiries, and schedule campus visits and interviews, while maintaining accurate data in the student information system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of recruitment experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Attend college fairs at high schools, regional and community events generating qualified leads.
• Secure new inquiries by directly asking for referrals.
• Develop relationships with persons of influence at high schools and venues that yield leads.
• Schedule visits from qualified leads to Helms College for campus tours and interviews.
• Enter prospective student data accurately in the database.
• Travel as necessary to recruit and enroll students.
• Assist with planning and implementing recruitment events on and off campus.
