Job summary

Meredith College is seeking an Admission Counselor to identify, recruit, and select prospective students within the assigned territory and advance enrollment goals. You will promote the value of Meredith’s education, plan campus visits and events, and engage with students, families, counselors, and partners.

You will also guide applicants through the admission process, provide financial aid information, and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors and alumni.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid NC driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a recruitment plan for the assigned territory and schools.
• Communicate the value of Meredith’s educational experience to students, families, counselors, and partners.
• Plan visits to high schools/colleges and attend fairs to identify prospective students.
• Conduct campus interviews, admission presentations, and tours for visitors.
• Assist with the application and admission process, including financial aid information.
• Provide timely, high-volume follow-up with students and families.
