Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriately related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment services, student affairs, or a closely related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized guidance and support to prospective students from inquiry through enrollment, including answering questions and connecting students with campus resources.
• Manage prospective student records, track progress through the enrollment pipeline, and conduct timely follow-up communications.
• Coordinate recruitment activities via phone, email, text, virtual platforms, information sessions, and appointments.
• Represent CT State Housatonic at recruitment events such as high school visits, college fairs, and open houses.
• Develop relationships with high school counselors, adult education programs, workforce organizations, and community partners.
