Job summary

PACE by IIH in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Entry Level Intake Specialist to perform a range of administrative duties, including completing, filing, and submitting participant intake forms. You will plan, organize, and coordinate enrollment activities and daily administrative tasks to support the team.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with prospective enrollees and care teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate enrollment activities.
• Knowledge of health and social services for the elderly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from prospective enrollees and provide information on eligibility and services.
• Schedule face-to-face meetings with prospective enrollees and conduct site tours.
• Complete intake assessments and verify Medi-Cal and Medicare coverage.
• Update enrollment data in PrimeSuite and PaceLogic.
