Job summary

American Baptist Theological Seminary in Nashville, TN seeks an Admissions & Enrollment Recruiter to recruit and engage prospective students and guide them through the admissions process. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment services, sales, customer service, outreach, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with prospective college students, adult learners, transfer students, first-generation students, or diverse communities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and engage prospective students and families throughout the admissions and enrollment process.
• Represent the College at high schools, colleges, fairs, churches, and recruitment events.
• Provide accurate information on programs, tuition, financial aid, and campus life.
• Guide inquiries through to application, document submission, admission follow-up, and enrollment steps.
• Maintain timely records of recruitment contacts, events, and applicant status in the CRM or tracking system.
• Prepare reports on outreach, inquiries, applications, and event outcomes as requested.
• Coordinate with Enrollment Management, Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs for coordinated support.
• Assist with campaigns, open houses, campus tours, information sessions, and admitted-student activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, counselors, community partners, alumni, churches, and other referral sources.
• Communicate the College's mission and value proposition professionally and inclusively.
