Job summary

Orbis Education in Nashville is seeking an Admissions Advisor to recruit prospective students into healthcare programs and guide applicants through the enrollment process. You will conduct in-person and remote outreach, process applications, and maintain communications to drive enrollment targets.

Responsibilities include interviewing prospects, recording activities, and collaborating with partners while upholding policies.

Qualifications

• High level written and oral communication skills to accurately present information persuasively.
• Confidence, resilience, strong organizational skills, persistence and motivation.
• Understanding of internal communication and teamwork.
• Willing to work variable hours including some evenings/weekends.
• Experience in customer service, sales or marketing.
• Higher Education recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits new students to achieve goals for each term.
• Strives to reach and exceed the expected conversion goals for each stage of the recruiting process.
• Interviews prospective students through telephone and face-to-face presentations to determine motivation and qualifications.
• Maintains communication via telephone and email throughout the recruitment and admissions process.
• Enters and records all prospect activities according to company policies.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of partner mission, accreditation, history, curriculum and faculty.
• Participates in day-to-day operations and special site projects.
