Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College seeks a full-time Recruiter to advance awareness of programs among high school and adult students, coordinating events at multiple campuses across Tennessee.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, management of recruitment activities, and collaboration with the Enrollment Services team to support enrollment goals and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Academic preparation and training in student personnel services, higher education or a related field.
• One year of experience in an admissions office or related area.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Inspires prospective students to begin enrollment and tracks applicants through enrollment.
• Manages a recruitment territory of area high schools, businesses and events; provides monthly enrollment data.
• Advises new students and trains them in self-service web registration; guides course schedules and programs.
• Enters prospect data into the student information system.
• Conducts outreach and education programs promoting Enrollment Services.
• Helps plan schedules and strategies to meet recruitment goals; assists with New Student Welcome each semester.
• Maintains data for periodic reports and supports division projects.
