The Enrollment Coordinator I role blends technology,data management, process improvement, and relationship-building toensure enrollment operations run efficiently and effectively.Working closely with high school partners and universitydepartments, you will coordinate enrollment activities acrossmultiple systems, solve complex operational challenges, and helpcreate a seamless experience for students. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancinganalytical work with collaboration and customer service. You willhave the opportunity to develop expertise in higher educationenrollment processes, leverage data to improve outcomes, andcontribute to initiatives that directly affect thousands of highschool students each year. Through meaningful partnerships,continuous process improvement, and operational support, you willplay a key role in expanding access to educational opportunitiesand advancing student success.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Admissions, Registration, and Records: Assists with admissions,registration, and records processes for a caseload of high schoolconcurrent enrollment students. Documents change requests andenters the changes into the enrollment system for issues such assection changes and increases to the student credit cap.Investigates and resolves admissions, registration, and recordserrors. Engages in consistent and proactive process improvement.Coordinates with internal UVU departments to ensure admissions,registration, and other CE functions run smoothly. Processes andvalidates enrollment and records exceptions in coordination withthe UVU Registrar's Office to ensure data accuracy and policycompliance. Responsible for petitions, auditing final and missinggrades, managing Repeat Reports, correcting high school data, andSSID numbers. Assist IR in collecting, verifying, and correctinginstitutional data for state reporting requirements. Validategraduation dates and assist with transcript collection.
- Academic Scheduling: Collaborate with AS& P ProfessionalDevelopment Managers regarding course creation and management ofexisting CE course offerings based on instructor applications andother relevant data sources. Tailor all course offerings to eachhigh school site. Accurately identify and build CE courses withinthe UVU Academic Scheduling CourseLeaf/CLSS application. Determinethe correct application of Scheduling Rules and TOPS codes forpayment structures, request CRNs, and identify and assign criticalcourse details. Update the public course listing webpage. Updateinstructor and course information across interconnected platforms,including Banner, Monday.com, and the CE website, to ensure dataaccuracy. Partners closely with the AS& P team to ensure FERPAcompliance for instructors. Assigns and audits instructorcompliance for course access.
- High School Partnerships: Work closely with high schoolcoordinators, students, and parents to identify, research, andresolve concerns and issues regarding admissions, registration,records corrections, grade changes, drops, section swaps, andwithdrawals, and scheduling errors. Identify and resolve conflictsinvolving high school students, parents, and coordinators todetermine if escalation to the director is required. Provideonboarding and ongoing training for high school coordinators.Manage the coordinator's access to the HSCE dashboard. Assist inplanning and executing events such as the Fall RegistrationKickoff, Mid-Year Check-In, Virtual Q&A, and End-of-YearRecognition. Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degreeand one year of professional experience in a related discipline; ORa combination of education and experience totaling fiveyears.
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience.

- OR two years of college coursework (approximately 60 credithours) and 3 years of related experience.
- OR one year of college coursework (approximately 30 credithours) and 4 years of related experience.
- OR a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of relatedexperience.
