You'llcollaborate with faculty, staff, industry partners, and prospectivestudents to drive recruitment, support student success, and fostermeaningful connections between academic programs and the businesscommunity. As a trusted leader within the Woodbury School ofBusiness, you'll help guide program development, oversee keyoperational functions, and contribute to the continued growth andreputation of graduate education at UVU. Summary of Responsibilities
- Community Outreach & Recruitment: Develop & executedata-informed community outreach & recruitment strategies toattract a diverse and highly qualified student body. Establish& sustain strategic partnerships with industry leaders,professional organizations, and academic institutions to fortifyrecruitment pipelines and expand program reach. Serve as theleading representative of the graduate programs at key recruitmentevents. Spearhead the creation and execution of innovativeinformation sessions, webinars, and workshops to engage and educateprospective students. Lead collaboration with the marketing team todrive brand recognition through compelling promotional materials,digital campaigns, and targeted recruitment initiatives. Direct andoversee outreach efforts aligned with institutional initiatives toensure broad and equitable access to graduate programs. Provideleadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Enrollment andRecruiting Program Manager in executing recruitment initiatives andoutreach strategies.
- Office Operations & Enrollment Management: Provideleadership in overseeing daily office operations, ensuring optimaladministrative efficiency, student services excellence, and staffcollaboration. Drive strategic oversight of enrollment processes,including application review, admissions coordination, and studentonboarding. Design and implement sophisticated, data-driventracking systems for recruitment, enrollment, and retention tooptimize institutional effectiveness. Ensure adherence toinstitutional policies and accreditation requirements, continuouslyidentifying areas for improvement and innovation. Build and sustaindynamic, cross-functional relationships with university departmentsto enhance student support services. Directly oversee theEnrollment and Recruiting Program Manager and frontlineadministrative staff, providing visionary leadership and strategicdirection to enhance enrollment initiatives and student engagementefforts.
- Student Engagement & Prospective Student Support: Leadhigh-impact initiatives to support prospective students through theapplication and enrollment process. Oversee the development andexecution of comprehensive informational sessions, open houses, andindividualized meetings to engage and convert prospective students.Cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and student-centered environment bydriving engagement efforts, collaborating with faculty, staff, andstudent organizations to ensure robust access to essential campusresources and opportunities.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting: Direct the collection,analysis, and synthesis of key enrollment and demographic data todrive strategic decision-making and continuous program improvement.Provide high-level insights and strategic recommendations to seniorleadership to enhance recruitment, retention, and the overallstudent experience. Play a pivotal leadership role in institutionalplanning and strategy meetings, ensuring the alignment of programgoals with broader university objectives. Lead the development,assessment, and implementation of best practices in studentengagement, recruitment, and academic support, positioning thegraduate programs as a leader in innovation and excellence.Demonstrated expertise in leading teams, developingforward-thinking strategies, and driving institutional change.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills toinfluence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels. Proventrack record of success in marketing, outreach strategies, andenrollment management techniques. Ability to work bothindependently and collaboratively in a high-paced, results-drivenenvironment. Advanced proficiency in data management, assessmenttools, and CRM systems, with the ability to leverage technology forstrategic advantage.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Master's degree in business administration, higher educationadministration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of progressive leadershipexperience.
