American Public University System, Inc. is seeking an Admissions Representative to guide prospective students through degree planning, enrollment options, and payment decisions.

You will consult on transfer credits, create action plans, and follow up to help applicants advance toward enrollment. You will use CRM tools to manage inquiries, respond promptly by phone or email, and collaborate with Financial Aid, Student Services, and Marketing to meet recruitment targets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of work experience in telemarketing, sales, service, online or higher education preferred
• Associates Degree required

Responsabilités

• Consults and advises potential students to discover goals and plan degree options, payment, transfer credits, and enrollment decisions
• Provides regular follow up via phone, email or other electronic means and makes admissions decisions
• Protects privacy of student accounts in compliance with FERPA
• Evaluates academic records and documents for admission to APU/AMU programs
• Demonstrates skill in using CRM and other admissions software
• Resolves routine and escalated concerns for potential students professionally and efficiently
• Maintains productive relationships with Financial Aid, Student Services, Marketing and other departments
• Meets or exceeds performance goals as determined by leadership
