Job summary

American Public University System is seeking an Executive Admissions Representative for a fully remote, online role. You will engage prospective students in consultative conversations, guiding them through the enrollment process and coordinating with Financial Aid, Advising, and the Registrar’s Office.

A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years in online admissions are required; Salesforce knowledge is a plus. You will work to meet enrollment targets while maintaining CRM records and protecting student

Qualifications

• 5 years of online admissions experience with adult students.
• Bachelor's degree required; Salesforce knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a strong phone presence.
• Self-driven and capable of high-volume outbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of contact for prospective students considering enrollment.
• Engages prospective students via phone and email about their future with the goal of enrollment.
• Demonstrates sensitivity and ability to relate to diverse backgrounds.
• Conducts consultative conversations to assess needs and showcase benefits of an APUS education.
• Presents tailored solutions and facilitates enrollment based on consultative discussions.
• Meets and exceeds enrollment targets as directed by leadership.
• Connects students to departments for documents, funding, and degree solutions.
• Maintains regular follow-ups with prospective students, via phone and email.
• Protects student privacy under FERPA and manages CRM updates.
