Job summary

Santee School District PRIDE ACADEMY AT PROSPECT AVENUE is seeking an Expanded Learning Program Enrichment Leader for an entry-level position. You will work with PreK–8 students, providing safe, engaging enrichment activities and supervision in the after-school hours.

Position is part-time (12 months, 4.5 hours daily, 1:30 pm–6:00 pm), starting immediately. Prior paraprofessional experience is preferred; first aid/CPR/AED certifications are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent; candidates with youth-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech; follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships and motivate students per program guidelines.
• Maintenance of confidentiality for student information; ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student groups with safe, effective practices.
• Provide engaging enrichment activities aligned with the District Plan.
• Create a safe, supportive environment for student learning.
• Communicate with parents and staff about student progress and needs.
• Monitor student check-in/out, transitions, and facility use.
• Prepare materials and assist with snack distribution.
• Provide basic first aid/CPR/AED as needed.
• Maintain an organized classroom/learning space.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
