Job summary

REAL Journey Academies in California is seeking an Enrichment Leader to create a safe, engaging after-school experience that complements core academics. You will supervise activities, support homework, and foster a fun learning environment where students build confidence, friendships, and love for learning.

The role emphasizes teamwork with teachers and parents, organizing clubs and sports, and delivering structured enrichment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university.
• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week with 2:30pm–6:00pm (M-W) and 2:30pm–6:00pm (F); 12:00pm–6:00pm on Thursdays.
• Prior experience working with students in a learning environment is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Provide homework support to students.
• Implement enrichment activities such as clubs and sports.
• Prepare instructional, display, and work materials for activities.
• Organize and supervise after-school activities and events.
