Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, CAD, or a discipline related to the department.

Responsibilities

• Responds to field emergencies by coordinating and dispatching field service personnel.
• Schedules appointments, field investigations, and inspections while maintaining clear communication.
• Reviews engineered plans to support the issuance of utility permits and processes payments for water, sewer, and hydrant use permits.
• Inspects meters and assists with new account setup and record-keeping.
• Supports backflow prevention program and disaster response per department plans.
