Job summary

The Municipality of Anchorage's Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility seeks an experienced systems analyst to lead projects supporting Treatment and Operations & Maintenance, and to assist other divisions as needed.

You will analyze feasibility, design specifications, implement strategies, and document technical plans. Expect occasional emergency duties, potential extended shifts, and close coordination with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with 8 years of related experience.
• Associate's degree in CS, Business Admin, or related field with 6 years.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Business Admin, or related field with 4 years.
• Master's degree in CS, Business Admin, or related field with 2 years.
• Satisfactory background check including criminal, education, and employment history.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or systems analysis activities for core Utility functions (Treatment and O&M).
• Design, specify, implement strategies and document technical plans.
• Support and administer systems; communicate analysis and documentation; assist other divisions as required.
• Participate in major emergencies per the disaster plan; may include extended shifts.
