Job summary

Terracon in Avondale, AZ is seeking a field technician to perform on-site testing and observation of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete. You will assist senior staff under supervision, document results, and support project managers with data submission while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties under supervision.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate information to Project Manager for data submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas.
• Drive a vehicle such as a Ford F-150 or equivalent.
• Follow safety rules and planning requirements for all projects.
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
