Job summary

Voyager Space Inc. in Colorado is seeking an Engineering Technician I to support energetic materials handling, propulsion testing, and facility activation at Pueblo and Penrose sites.

You will work across instrumentation, controls, and production under senior engineers, ensuring safety and compliance. This hands-on role emphasizes meticulous documentation and cross-functional collaboration in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with energetic materials, propellants, pyrotechnics, or explosives per safety standards.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical procedures.
• Experience with facility activation, equipment startup, or industrial activation; knowledge of DoD/ATF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle energetic materials per DoD/ATF regulations.
• Maintain energetic material inventories and perform inspections.
• Support rocket motor testing and data collection; flag anomalies for review.
• Assist with facility activation and commissioning of systems and equipment.
• Set up instrumentation and data acquisition systems; calibrate sensors.
• Support production and QA documentation for traceability and audits.
