Job summary

Voyager Technologies is hiring for the Energetics Technician I on the 3rd shift in Penrose, CO/Pueblo, CO. The role focuses on hands-on production, assembly of energetic materials and rocket hardware, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

You will support operators and work in controlled environments while maintaining documentation and traceability. Qualified candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, tool experience, and the ability to follow written instructions.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow written instructions in controlled environments.
• Attention to detail and safety procedures.
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency (Word, Excel, ERP).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process energetic components and rocket hardware per work instructions and travelers.
• Operate and maintain standard production and mixing equipment under supervision.
• Follow safety, environmental, and explosive handling protocols.
• Record production data, inspection results, and material traceability per ISO 9001 and internal procedures.
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements with calipers, scales, and gauges.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and controlled spaces.
• Support preventive maintenance and calibration checks on production equipment.
• Report irregularities or safety incidents to supervision promptly.
