Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Energetics Technician I for the 3rd shift at our Penrose/Pueblo, CO sites. The role focuses on hands-on energetic materials handling, assembly, and testing in controlled environments, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Responsibilities include following precise work instructions, operating production equipment, and maintaining traceability and compliance with ISO 9001. Training period offers base pay with a 10% shift differential after transition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, chemical processing, or energetics preferred.
• Completion of DoD Explosives Safety or equivalent in-house safety training within first month.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses (21+, drug test, background checks).
• US person for ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process energetic components and rocket hardware per work instructions and travelers.
• Operate and maintain standard production and mixing equipment under supervision.
• Follow safety, environmental, and explosive ordnance handling protocols.
• Record production data and material traceability per ISO 9001 and internal procedures.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic measurements with calipers, scales, and gauges to ensure part conformance.
