Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Energetics Technician II for the 2nd shift in the Pueblo/Penrose, CO area. The role supports energetic production, sets up, operates, and maintains equipment used for propellant formulations, and works closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure safety and compliance.

The position reports to the Energetics Manufacturing Supervisor and requires ability to read drawings, train staff, and perform root-cause analysis as part of ISO 9001 quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• Experience with energetic materials processing or rocket motor assembly is desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses, including age and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized mixing, molding, extrusion, or curing equipment for propellant formulations.
• Lead assembly of propulsion subsystems, integrating mechanical, electrical, and energetic components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for accurate builds.
• Maintain production documentation and batch records per QA procedures.
• Train Technician I and Energetics Operator staff in procedures and safety.
