Innova Solutions is hiring an Engineering Technician for an onsite contract role in Malabar, FL. The position focuses on Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) of circuit card assemblies and ensuring workmanship standards are met.

It includes operating AOI equipment, documenting results, and supporting production quality. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with 4 years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary with 0–2 years of related experience, and familiarity with AOI or

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician.

Position Type: Full time contract, Possible Contract to Hire

Duration: 12months

Location: Malabar, FL 32950 (Onsite/Weekend 1 st shift/6AM-6PM/Fri, Sat & Sun)

As an Engineering Technician you will:

• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Operator
• Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection
• (AOI) equipment to verify compliance with workmanship standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Operates, monitors, and supports AOI systems used to detect component placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts, and other visible assembly nonconformances.
• Reviews inspection results, identifies straight forward defects, documents findings, and escalates discrepancies as needed.
• Works from work instructions, inspection criteria, drawings, and applicable quality standards.
• May assist with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support activities to maintain workflow and product quality.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Developing job knowledge/skills on AOI and Circuit soldering.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range*: $31-$33/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
