Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering disciplines, from requisition to offer letters. You will source candidates through targeted platforms, direct sourcing, and networks, collaborating with hiring managers and HRBPs to meet business needs and ensure policy compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of recruiting experience, with a proven track record in engineering recruiting and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field.
• 5+ years recruiting experience.
• Strong understanding of recruiting Engineering talent across various disciplines.
• Proven track record of driving recruitment using effective strategies, online resources, networking, and sourcing.
• Deadline-oriented and hands-on approach to recruiting with ability to achieve goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across organization levels
• Experience managing 3rd party recruiting agencies
• Willingness to travel, including overnight trips
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and basic tech

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment process from requisition intake to offer letter creation.
• Source candidates from targeted platforms, direct sourcing, networking, and organizations.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to align with business needs.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand business requirements.
• Develop sourcing solutions and provide excellent customer service.
• Create accurate job requisitions aligned with business needs and compensation.
• Screen resumes promptly and assist with pre-screening.
• Provide clear updates to HR team and management.
• Improve recruiting processes, tools, and practices for efficiency.
• Maintain accurate ATS data and ensure compliance.
• Advise leadership on talent markets and selection strategies.
• Partner with teams to set expectations and drive timely hiring decisions.
• Use analytics to identify trends and improve candidate experience.
• Represent the company to attract high-caliber talent
• Perform other duties as assigned
