Job summary

Qualus Corporation is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in the Protection & Control domain based in Chattanooga, TN. This leadership role requires guiding a team of protection and control engineers, technicians, and drafters from project proposal through to the as-built stage.

You will coordinate with multiple engineering groups, develop complete design packages, and oversee QA/QC processes while presenting technical solutions to clients and managing relationships with senior engineers and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience; MS may substitute.
• Ten+ years in electrical engineering; protection and control experience required.
• PE registration or plan to obtain; state registration is a plus.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; Bluebeam helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of protection & control engineers, technicians, and drafters from proposal to as-built.
• Coordinate with Substation Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups for design concurrence.
• Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems.
• Develop SCADA packages and input/output lists.
• Provide technical direction and training to staff.
