Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for the Back End night shift in Marcy, NY. You will perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on semiconductor tools to improve equipment availability and reliability.

The role operates on 12-hour night shifts (Wed, Thu, Fri, and alternating Sat, 6pm–6:15am) supporting a 24/7 operation. Candidates should have an AAS in Electronics Technology and at least 3 years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs.
• As needed, modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance.
