Seagate Technology in Bloomington, MN is hiring Engineering Technicians for the Wafer Fab Cleanroom. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on photo, plate, and test equipment, reading schematics, and applying PM procedures.

You will collaborate with Process, RD and Manufacturing, supporting preventive maintenance programs and training. The role requires a technical background in semiconductors and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift with shift differential for B-Shift.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Office and maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of wafer fabrication equipment.
• Proficiency with electronic circuits, PLCs, robotics and ability to read schematics.
• Semiconductor or related industry experience preferred.
• Able to work a 12-hour night shift (B Shift schedule described in posting).

Responsabilités

About The Role - You Will

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLC’s, Robotics and able to read schematics
• Able to follow and complete PM instructions
• Maintains, repairs and troubleshoots equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Includes Technicians that repair and maintain production and production test equipment
• Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures
• Administers training programs to ensure: Proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and procedures
• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
• Determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• May provide guidance to other team members
• As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways

Your Experience Includes

Salary: The estimated base wage range for this position is $27.37 - $39.13/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
